A man accused of stabbing his wife with a knife has been arrested under the Gram Panchayat Bhumati jurisdiction. In her complaint to the police, the woman stated that on October 21st, when she returned home from the Ghasni farm, she asked her husband to return the kitchen keys. Upon this, her husband began abusing her and threw a brick, which narrowly missed hitting their daughter. He then went into the kitchen, retrieved a knife, and attacked her, injuring her. A case was registered at the Arki police station.
During the investigation, the complainant underwent a medical examination, which revealed that the victim’s injuries were serious. The knife used in the incident was also recovered and seized by the police. The woman stated that she and her children have been living separately from her husband. They have been in a dispute with him for the past five or six years. Additionally, they have a maintenance case pending in the Arki court. Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh said that the arrested accused was produced in court, where he was remanded to judicial custody for 14 days. During the investigation, it was found that the accused had been involved in previous criminal incidents. The investigation is ongoing.
