All Congress leaders and Gandhi family should apologize to the entire country for insulting Baba Saheb
Shimla: In a statement issued from Shimla, Leader of Opposition Jairam Thakur said that Bharat Ratna Baba Saheb has always been insulted by Congress party leaders. Insulting Baba Saheb has been the policy and legacy of the Congress Party and the Gandhi-Nehru family. The Congress leaders did not leave any opportunity to insult Baba Saheb even before independence and even after independence. Baba Saheb, who gave Bharat Ratna to his family members as soon as he was in power, was not given Bharat Ratna in his government. All this is recorded in history. The sad thing is that Congress did not even let the country and the world know about the insults and conspiracies done to Baba Saheb. It is ridiculous that the same Congress party which always insulted, mocked and embarrassed Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar is today pretending to demand rights in his name. The thinking of Congress has always been against Babasaheb. Congress should tender an unconditional apology to the entire nation for the insult done to Baba Saheb Ambedkar by its leaders and Pandit Nehru.
Jairam Thakur said that whenever a leader resigns from the Council of Ministers, he is given a chance to speak in the House but after Babasaheb’s resignation, he was not even allowed to speak in the House. Baba Saheb has written a lot against Pandit Nehru in his resignation letter. Baba Saheb had written in his resignation letter that “I was educated in the field of finance and industry, but I was not given a single department related to it and was not made a part of even a single parliamentary committee. I was given the law ministry, but was not allowed to work honestly. I was not allowed to complete the work of Hindu Code Bill. Only Muslims were cared for by Nehru, but proper protection was not provided to SCs and STs. The Prime Minister’s entire attention is dedicated to the Muslim community. I have no objection to the protection being given to Muslims, but do only Muslims need protection in the country?” For this reason, Baba Saheb’s resignation letter was not brought before the general public by the Congress. The Congress party should clarify why it did not allow Baba Saheb’s resignation letter to come before the public? Perhaps if this resignation letter had come out, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s turban would have been raised. Pandit Nehru clearly writes in a letter to Dr. BC Roy that Bhimrao Ambedkar’s resignation will not make any difference. It is beyond comprehension as to how the Congress Party is talking about the rights of Baba Saheb today.
