Gautam College of Pharmacy celebrated International Sports Day with great enthusiasm by organizing inter-departmental sports competitions on campus. The event witnessed active participation from students across various departments, showcasing both talent and sportsmanship.
A range of indoor games including table tennis, badminton, carrom board, and chess were conducted. Participants displayed remarkable skills and competitive spirit during the matches, making the event lively and engaging.
The program was graced by the presence of Managing Director of Gautam Group of Colleges, Mr. Jagdish Gautam, Secretary Dr. Rajnish Gautam, and Principal Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kumar, who encouraged the students throughout the event.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Jagdish Gautam emphasized the importance of sports in shaping students’ personalities. He noted that sports help inculcate discipline, teamwork, and leadership qualities, which are essential for professional success.
Outstanding performers in the competitions were awarded prizes, while all participants were appreciated for their enthusiastic involvement. Principal Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kumar and Prof. Dr. Darsh Gautam congratulated the students on their performances and wished them success in their future endeavors.
