SDM will give investigation report within 1 month
-MLA found flaws during inspection
The construction work of the government hospital in Shimla district’s sub-division Theog, built at a cost of Rs 17 crore, has come under scrutiny. Congress MLA Kuldeep Singh Rathore had recently conducted a surprise inspection of the hospital. During the inspection, many shortcomings were revealed. There is dampness inside the hospital building. The tiles that have been installed have started coming off. During the inspection, other officials including the Executive of the State Public Works Department were also present. He had instructed the officials to investigate this. MLA Kuldeep Singh Rathore said that now SDM Theog will investigate this matter. He has been asked to submit a complete report of this matter within 1 month. On the basis of the report, the government will take further action in this matter. Kuldeep Rathore said that there will be no compromise on quality in construction works. Action will be taken against anyone who indulges in corruption. Action will be taken not only against the contractor who did the construction, but also against the officer under whose supervision this work was done.
Fruit market is ready in Shilaru, will be inaugurated after inspection
Kuldeep Rathore said that the Shilaru fruit market of Theog is ready. He is scheduled to visit here in a day or two. First the market will be inspected. After that it will be inaugurated. He said that the government will try to complete and dedicate this market in this season itself.
Kuldeep Rathore said that all roads will remain open during the apple season. For this, he recently held a meeting with the officials of the State Public Works Department and National Highway Authority. Rathore said that the roads which are not under the Public Works Department have also been instructed to be maintained during the apple season. Money will be given for this from some other item.
