Shimla: The Municipal Corporation Shimla has intensified preparations for Swachh Survekshan 2026, with a review meeting held at the corporation’s war room under the chairmanship of Municipal Commissioner Bhupender Kumar Attri.
The meeting was attended by the Additional Commissioner, CHO, VHPO, both City Mission Managers, ward in-charge officers, coordinators and sanitary inspectors.
During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the city’s sanitation arrangements, ground-level work being carried out across wards and complaints received from residents.
Commissioner Attri directed ward in-charge officers to further strengthen cleanliness measures and waste management in every ward. He also stressed the need to ensure timely redressal of public complaints.
The Municipal Corporation Shimla aims to further improve sanitation standards and establish Shimla as a model city in cleanliness rankings under the Swachh Survekshan initiative.
