A new executive committee of the Parent-Teacher Association for the 2026-27 academic year was unanimously formed at a meeting held on Sunday at Government College, Kullu. The meeting focused on the academic and all-round development of college students, as well as establishing better coordination between parents and the college administration.
The meeting unanimously elected Rakesh Jambal as the PTA’s president, Kirat as vice president, Dr. Babli Joshi as secretary, Ramesh Kumar as joint secretary, and Mrs. Sujata Sharma as treasurer. Additionally, three members from the parent community and four from the teacher community were nominated to the PTA’s new executive committee.
This newly formed PTA Executive Committee will work for the welfare of the students, strengthening the academic environment and establishing effective coordination between the college and the parents during the academic session 2026-27. The college administration congratulated all the office bearers and members of the newly formed PTA Executive Committee and expressed hope that with their cooperation, the academic and co-curricular activities of the college will be made more effective.
