New Delhi, August 6: Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Wednesday held a meeting with party leaders from Himachal Pradesh to review organisational affairs and discuss key socio-economic and development issues concerning the state.
During the meeting, leaders briefed Priyanka Gandhi on the party’s ongoing organisational activities, cadre engagement and efforts to strengthen the Congress organisation at the grassroots level across Himachal Pradesh.
The discussions also focused on major public concerns, the status of development works and prevailing political and social issues in the state. Leaders apprised the AICC general secretary of the current situation and highlighted priorities requiring organisational attention.
The delegation also extended a formal invitation to Priyanka Gandhi to visit Himachal Pradesh in the near future. The proposed visit is expected to include interactions with party workers and public outreach programmes across the state.
The meeting formed part of the Congress’ ongoing efforts to strengthen its organisational network and review political developments in Himachal Pradesh.
