Manjhyat: The festival of Raksha Bandhan was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at Lakshya Convent School, Manjhyat. Various co-curricular activities were organised on the school campus, with students participating actively and enthusiastically.
On the occasion, students showcased their creativity by making beautiful and attractive rakhis. They tied rakhis to the teachers and non-teaching staff, spreading the message of love, affection, respect and the special bond of brotherhood and sisterhood.
A unique message of environmental conservation was delivered when the school’s Head Boy and Head Girl tied rakhis to a water tap and a tree. Through this meaningful initiative, they encouraged everyone to save water, protect trees and safeguard the environment, while spreading awareness about the conservation of natural resources.
School Principal Dr Kusum Gupta and Chairman Dr Prem Lal Gupta extended their heartfelt Raksha Bandhan greetings to all students, teachers and members of the school family. They encouraged students to develop the values of love, brotherhood, environmental conservation and social responsibility through the celebration of festivals.
The programme promoted creativity, cultural values and a sense of responsibility towards the environment among students. The entire school campus was filled with the festive spirit and joy of Raksha Bandhan.
