Session held on Footsteps to Archaeology at Shoolini Univ

Chitrakoot School of Liberal Arts at Shoolini University has started a discussion series titled ‘Samvaad”. The main aim of the series is to generate stimulating interaction on various historical and political concerns of contemporary times.

The first lecture of this series was organised under the title : “Footsteps to Archaeology- Basics to multi-disciplinary approaches’. Prof Manju Jaidka, Dean, Faculty of Liberal Arts and Ancient Indian Wisdom in her welcome address encouraged faculty members and students to engage themselves in such interdisciplinary interactions with the experts.

The expert speaker of the series was Dr. Arjun Rao, expert in Prehistoric archaeology from Central University of Karnataka. Dr. Rao explained about different dimensions in the field of Archaeology.

Prof Tej Nath Dhar, Dr Ekta Singh, Dr Sachna and Dr Siddarth actively participated in the discussion and made the session engaging. Addressing students queries Dr. Rao also highlighted important career prospects in the field of Archaeology.
