A case of attack by a leopard on a five year old innocent girl has come to light in Chaupal. This incident occurred at 7 pm on Monday evening.The girl came out of her house and the leopard in ambush attacked her.
The innocent girl suffered serious injuries on her back and shoulders in this attack by the wild animal. As soon as the leopard attacked, the girl’s mother present at the spot started screaming for help, after which the leopard left the girl at some distance. When people raised alarm, the leopard ran away from the spot.
After the incident, the family immediately took the girl to Civil Hospital Nerwa in an ambulance, where the girl is undergoing treatment. The girl has been identified and is said to be from Nepal. A person named Prakash lives with his family in Chaupal, Shimla. Prakash’s five year old daughter Anusha has been attacked by a leopard. This family from Nepal lived camping in Chaupal.
There is an atmosphere of panic among the local people after this incident. People have demanded the forest department to catch the leopard. The Forest Department has been informed about the matter. Forest Department official has informed that the department will soon install a cage to catch the leopard
