Shimla, May 26
Sarthak Chauhan from Shimla has brought laurels to Himachal Pradesh after achieving a major milestone at global financial giant JP Morgan. Recognised for his exceptional performance, Sarthak has been promoted as one of the youngest Assistant Vice Presidents in the company.
As part of JP Morgan’s associate training programme, Sarthak was selected from India for international exposure and training in cities including London and New York alongside professionals from across the world.
Sarthak began his academic journey at Dayanand Public School, Shimla, and later completed his Class XI and XII from Laureate Public School. He went on to pursue Computer Science Engineering from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh.
His father, Kalam Singh Chauhan, serves as Naib Tehsildar in Kotkhai, while his mother, Dr Kiran Kumari, is working as Associate Professor at Sister Nivedita Government Nursing College, IGMC Shimla. The family credited his dedication, discipline and strong academic foundation for the achievement.
Sarthak worked for nearly two years with JP Morgan’s investment banking team in London and is now collaborating with teams across London, New York and Plano, Texas. His promotion marks a significant achievement in his professional career.
The global training programme included talented professionals from countries such as Brazil, Argentina, Singapore, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Luxembourg, France, Indonesia, Malaysia and Japan.
Sarthak attributed his success to hard work, support from his family and guidance from his teachers, who played a vital role in shaping his journey.
