The Inauguration of STEMROBO at St.Thomas’ School was a momentous occasion that marked the beginning of new era in STEM Education.
The event was held on 18th July 2024 in the school auditorium and it was witnessed by classes 4 ,5, 6,7 and 8th.
The progamme was graced by esteemed chief guest Dr. Pankaj Vaidya, head of computer and data science at yogananda school of AI, Shoolini University. Distinguished guest Mr. Naman Sharma, Senior manager outreach Shoolini University and LEAD Programme Team.
Chief guest Dr. Pankaj Vaidya, highlighted the benefits of incorporating robotics and AI in Education.
The highlights of the event was the unveiling of STEMROBO , a cutting edge robotic system designed to enhance students learning outcomes in STEM Subjects (Science, Technology , Engineering and Mathematics).
School principal Mrs. Vidhupriya Chakravarty said that it is a matter of pride for school to be this first school to launch STEMROBO and become a tech savvy.
She also said that as we celebrate this year as our centenary year. This STEMROBO would be a special gift to the children. Furthermore, this innovative programme would take school to the next level.
She also acknowledges the efforts of Teachers, Students and Lead Team.
