In a stellar performance at International Sports Areana, THDC-IKCA High-Performance Academy secured Three Gold and Five Silver medals at the Asian Canoe Sprint Cup held in Hong Kong from 11th to 13th January 2025. Sh. R. K. Vishnoi, CMD, THDCIL, expressed his heartfelt wishes on this achievement and said that these victories are a testament to THDCIL’s relentless pursuit of excellence, not only in Energy Generation but also across various dimensions of Socio-Economic development including Women Empowerment, Impactful CSR initiatives, Sports and many more.

The athletes from THACK Academy delivered exceptional results across various categories. L. Naocha Singh won silver medals in both the K1 1000M and K2 1000M events, while Vishnu Reghunath earned silver in the K2 1000M. Prohit Baroi also secured a silver in the K2 500M, and Arjun Singh made a notable performance in the U-23 C1 23KM category. Parvathy G emerged as one of the standout athletes, clinching gold in both the K1 200M and K2 500M events. Additionally, Ch. Devabrata Singh won silver in the K2 500M, and Ph. Gyaneshwor Singh took home gold in the C1 500M. These outstanding results underscore the level of excellence that the academy has fostered among its athletes.
Looking ahead, the athletes of THACK Academy are motivated to reach even greater heights in their careers, with aspirations of competing at the Olympics and other prestigious International platforms.
