Union power, New & Renewable Energy Minister RK Singh visited BBMB to lay the foundation stone of Bhakra Museum.
On this occasion,Sanjay Srivastava, chairman BBMB welcomed RK Singh by presenting shawl.
After laying foundation stone, Union power, New &Renewable Energy Minister RK Singh visited the shaheedi smarak and paid his tributes to the workers martyred in the construction of the dam.
BBMB Chairman Sanjay Srivastava says, “BBMB is making a “Bhakra Museum “ at Nangal to show case the journey of the making of “Modern temple of the Resurgent India”-Bhakra dam . The high level museum cost Rs 12 crore and will have all the information, how the dam was made, who made it, who made contribution in the making this a wonder- the highest concrete gravity one in Asia, has created the Gobind Sagar Lake.”
On this occasion, RK Singh also visited Bhakra Nangal Dam.
R.K.Singh congratulated the chairman BBMB, member power BBMB and other officers of Bhakra Beas Management Board for their tireless effort in maintaining the Bhakra Nangal Dam in a satisfactory manner.
