The creative dialogue with the renowned storyteller SR Harnot from Shimla on the titles of his books and stories was very interesting, which was praised by the audience present in the auditorium. No one had even thought that a subject like “titles of stories” could be so important and interesting. Behind the titles of his famous story books and stories like Darosh, Mitti Ke Log, Jeenkathi, Litton Block Gir Raha Hai, Hidimba, Keele, Fly Killer, Aabi, Death Live, Kinnar, Nadi Rang Jaisi Ladki etc., not only tradition, culture, and amazing stories were present, but all the topics being discussed in the present time were and are present….. which Harnot ji presented very well. He said that in this program organized by Chitranagari Samvad Manch Mumbai on Sunday evening, 16 February 2025, at Mrinaltai Hall, Keshav Gore Memorial Trust, Goregaon, the audience also asked him questions. Harnot told that the subjects of the stories are unique and new, on which it was not easy to write stories. Dr. Madhubala Shukla told in the introduction of Harnot that his stories are being read not only in the country but also abroad, and research is being done continuously in many universities. His stories are being taught in the curriculum in 13 universities. Madhu Bala informed that Harnot’s much-talked-about story “Billiyan Batiyati Hai” is being taught in Mumbai University, and here two girl students are also doing PhDs on his literature. Harnot’s story collection “Cheh Lambi Kahaniyaan,” which came to the World Book Fair from Vani Prakashan, and the book “Pradhanit Kahaniyaan” published by Aadhar Prakashan were also introduced.
Devmani Pandey further said that under Dharohar, actor Arun Shekhar presented Agyeya’s famous poem Asadhya Veena in an effective manner. A kavi goshthi was also organized. The program concluded with a speech and poem by renowned poet Anup Sethi.
