Weather will change in Himachal Pradesh from Thursday. Rain and snowfall alerts have been issued in many areas of the state from 2nd to 7th January. Due to the western disturbance being active in most areas on 5th and 6th January, the intensity of rain and snowfall is forecast to be high. During this time, the temperature is also likely to decrease. Dense fog prevailed in many areas of the plain districts of Una, Kangra, Mandi, Hamirpur, and Bilaspur on Wednesday morning and evening. An alert of fog has been issued on Thursday as well.
On Wednesday, the weather remained clear in most areas of the state, including the capital, Shimla. The maximum temperature increased by three to four degrees as compared to Tuesday. The maximum temperature was recorded at 23.3 degrees Celsius in Chamba, 22.9 in Sundernagar, 20.8 in Bilaspur-Bhuntar, 20.6 in Una, 20.4 in Hamirpur, 20.0 in Mandi, 19.1 in Kangra, 18.9 in Dharamsala, 16.5 in Manali, 16.2 in Shimla, 12.8 in Nahan, and 4.7 degrees Celsius in Kalpa.
