Shimla
A fresh Western Disturbance is expected to start impacting the state on November 3rd, possibly bringing another round of rain and snowfall to the state’s upper regions, according to a warning from the Meteorological Department.
On Saturday morning, lower regions such as Sundernagar, Mandi, and Bilaspur experienced mild fog, but the remainder of the day was sunny. Although the clear weather during the day kept maximum temperatures close to normal, the little chill in the mornings and nights in cooler places like Kullu, Manali, and Lahaul-Spiti is currently getting worse.
A scientist at the Meteorological Centre in Shimla named Sandeep Sharma claims that this new Western Disturbance will start to impact some places on November 3.
November 4: Some parts of Chamba, Kangra, Kullu, Mandi, Kinnaur, and Lahaul-Spiti may get light rain or snowfall.
November 5th: Most of the state is expected to experience rain or snowfall, which will cause the temperature to drop and the cold to rise.
November 6 and 7: These two days are predicted to have clear skies once more.
According to the Meteorological Department, there may be mild to moderate fog in some parts of the Mandi district (Balh Valley) and Bilaspur (Bhakra Dam reservoir) late on November 2 or early on November 3. The minimum nighttime temperatures are not anticipated to fluctuate significantly throughout this time, though.
