The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) registered a clean sweep in the Manali civic body elections by winning all seven wards, dealing a major setback to the Congress party.
With victories in every ward of the municipal body, BJP candidates dominated the elections and secured an emphatic mandate from voters. The results are being viewed as a significant political boost for the party in the tourist town.
Party workers and supporters celebrated the landslide victory with enthusiasm soon after the declaration of results.
