Kullu: Four people were killed and another injured after a car met with an accident in the Haripur-Nagan area of Anni in Kullu district early Tuesday morning, officials said.
According to information received from the Fire Station Anni, the accident occurred at around 3:30 am. Preliminary reports suggest that around five people were travelling in the vehicle when it met with the accident.
Four occupants have been confirmed dead, while one injured person was rescued and shifted to Rampur Hospital for medical treatment.
A search and rescue operation is still underway at the accident site. Authorities are working to ascertain the exact circumstances of the crash and confirm further details.
Officials said more information will be released after the rescue operation is completed and the remaining details are verified.
