Shimla, August 13: Himachal Pradesh University (HPU) has assigned the additional charge of Principal, H.P. University Department of Evening Studies, The Mall, Shimla, to Dr. (Mrs.) Aarti Pandit Dhawan, Professor of Commerce.
According to an office order issued by the university on August 10, Dr. Dhawan will take over the additional charge in place of Dr. (Mrs.) Usha Rani, Professor of Commerce, who has attained the age of superannuation.
The order, issued by the Establishment Branch of HPU, states that the arrangement will remain in force with immediate effect until further orders.
Dr. Dhawan is currently serving as Professor of Commerce in the Department of Evening Studies at HPU. The university has circulated the order among concerned officials and departments for information and necessary action.
