21 September Shimla: Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly Speaker Kuldeep Singh Pathania has embarked on a scheduled study visit to three countries—Italy, Finland and Norway—following the conclusion of the 69th Commonwealth Parliamentary Conference.
As part of the first leg of his visit, Pathania arrived in Rome, Italy, last Saturday. After a two-day stay in the Italian capital, he travelled by rail to Venice.
During his stay in Venice, Pathania interacted with members of the Indian community and highlighted the immense tourism potential of Himachal Pradesh, apprising both the Indian community and local residents of opportunities in the state’s tourism sector.
Venice is renowned for its canals, gondola rides and distinctive cultural and architectural heritage, while Rome is known for its ancient history and iconic landmarks, including the Colosseum.
Pathania has now travelled by rail from Venice to Milan, where he is scheduled to stay on September 21 and 22 as part of his study visit.
The visit to Italy will be followed by scheduled visits to Finland and Norway.
