The Department of Students Welfare organized an impactful and interactive workshop on “Emotional Wellbeing & Stress Management” for students on campus under the theme “Know Yourself – Look Within, Live Better.”
The session was conducted by renowned transformational psychologist and counselor , who shared valuable insights on emotional wellness, self-awareness, mental resilience, and practical stress-management techniques for students facing academic and career-related pressures.
The workshop assumed special significance at a time when board and competitive examination results are being declared across the country, leading many students to experience stress, anxiety, and uncertainty regarding admissions, careers, and future goals. Addressing these concerns, Dr. Sareen guided students on overcoming self-doubt, maintaining positivity, managing emotional pressure, and building confidence while making important life decisions.
Speaking on the occasion, said emotional wellbeing is as important as academics and career growth in a student’s life. He emphasized that today’s youth face immense pressure in balancing studies, expectations, competition, and future planning, making mental wellness and emotional strength essential for overall success.
Highlighting the university’s student-centric approach, Mr. Avasthi said Bahra University continuously works towards creating a positive, supportive, and motivating campus environment where students feel heard, guided, and empowered. He added that such workshops help students develop emotional balance, confidence, leadership qualities, and a healthier outlook towards life and challenges.
Students from various departments enthusiastically participated in the interactive session, where practical techniques for handling stress, improving emotional balance, and maintaining mental wellbeing were discussed. The workshop created a motivating atmosphere and encouraged students to prioritize emotional health alongside academic excellence.
