Solan: Bahra University organized a major Education Partners Conclave in Himachal Pradesh as part of its nationwide outreach initiative aimed at expanding access to quality higher education for students across the state.
The event brought together education consultants, admission associates and academic partners from different parts of Himachal Pradesh, all united by a common objective — ensuring that deserving students receive better educational opportunities and career guidance.
The conclave held special significance for the university as it reflected not only an institutional initiative but also its deep-rooted commitment towards the state and its student community.
Chairman of the Rayat Bahra Group, Sardar Gurvinder Singh Bahra, attended the event as the chief guest. Addressing the gathering, he emphasized the transformative role of education in nation-building and societal development.
“Education is not merely a means to obtain a degree, but the strongest foundation for building society and the nation,” he said while interacting with education partners and discussing the university’s vision for students’ futures.
The university has previously organized similar conclaves in several states across the country, but officials described the Himachal edition as particularly important due to the institution’s responsibility towards students, parents and communities in the hill state.
University representatives acknowledged the role of education partners who reach remote and hilly regions to guide students and their families. Besides assisting with admissions, these partners also play a key role in shaping students’ academic and professional futures.
A major highlight of the conclave was an open interaction session between senior university officials and education partners. Detailed discussions were held on academic programmes, fee structures, scholarships, financial aid, placement records, campus life, career opportunities and modern infrastructure available at the university.
Officials said the session was aimed at ensuring that education partners are fully informed so they can provide transparent and reliable guidance to students and parents.
Speaking on the occasion, Vice President of Bahra University, Vikas Batra, praised the contribution of education partners in expanding the institution’s vision across the country, including remote areas of Himachal Pradesh.
“Our education partners have carried forward our mission with honesty, dedication and commitment from various parts of the country to the remote hill regions of Himachal Pradesh. Today is a celebration of that trust, collaboration and partnership,” he said.
He added that Himachal Pradesh is not only known for its natural beauty but also for a young generation with big aspirations. The university believes geographical challenges should never become barriers to a student’s ambitions, he stated.
The conclave concluded with the university reaffirming its support for education partners and its commitment to bringing students, parents and academic guidance networks closer through collaborative efforts.
