Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi said that blood donation is a great donation, which is a true gift for the needy. Sanjay Awasthi was addressing the public after inaugurating the blood donation camp organized by Sant Nirankari Mission in Darlaghat of the Arki assembly constituency today.
Sanjay Awasthi said that the blood given by the donor helps in saving the lives of people of all ages every day. He said that while blood donation is helpful in saving a precious life, it is also beneficial for the health of the person himself.
The MLA said that 9000 blood donation camps have been organized through the mission from the year 1987 till date, in which 14 lakh people donated blood. He said that the work done by the mission in the service of humanity during the Covid epidemic is commendable.
He announced to give Rs 11 thousand to Sant Nirankari Mission Darlaghat Sansthan and to install 10 solar lights in the institute.
The MLA also heard the public problems on this occasion and directed the concerned officials to resolve them immediately.
On this occasion, Vidyasagar Thakur, convener of the Dadlaghat Sant Nirankari Mandal, said that such blood donation camps are regularly organized at the district level to serve humanity.
Tehsildar Arki Vipin Sharma, Executive Engineer of the Water Power Department Vivek Katoch, Executive Engineer of the Electricity Board Sandeep Sharma, officials associated with the organization, other dignitaries, and blood donors were present on this occasion.
