The triennial convention of the state-level Himachal Rajkiya Sanskrit Shikshak Parishad was held at Bakhalg.
Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi said that while Sanskrit is the mother of all Indian languages, we get the complete information about the Sanatan life tradition from Sanskrit only. Sanjay Awasthi was addressing the triennial convention of the state-level Himachal Rajkiya Sanskrit Shikshak Parishad at Government Senior Secondary School Bathalg of the Arki Assembly constituency today.
He said that the study of the Sanskrit language instills purity and cleanliness in the attitude of man.
Sanjay Awasthi said that teachers who teach the Sanskrit language not only impart knowledge of the language but also work for the preservation of the language. He said that the Sanskrit language is the oldest language in the world. Its knowledge makes a person perfect in understanding religious, philosophical, and literary texts.
The MLA said that the Mehta of Sanskrit has been accepted in the complete work of information technology. Sanskrit is the origin of various languages of the world. We are all fortunate that we are part of the society where this language originated. He said that such events are playing an important role in the preservation of the Sanskrit language.
He said that the Sanskrit language can play an important role in keeping the youth away from drugs. Knowledge of the Sanskrit language can bring positive change in the hearts and mindset of the youth by giving them information about our ancient knowledge. He said that only the society that adopts its language, culture, and tradition progresses in the real sense.
Sanjay Awasthi said that Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu thinks that only that society progresses which is educated. Various schemes have been started to fulfill this objective. The Dr. Y.S. Parmar Student Loan Scheme is also one such scheme. Under this scheme, education loans up to Rs 20 lakh at a one percent interest rate are being made available for higher education. This scheme provides an opportunity for meritorious students to reach the highest level.
He said that under the able leadership of the Chief Minister, the state government is doing various works to strengthen the economy of farmers, gardeners, and cattle rearers. He said that the minimum support price of cow milk has been increased from Rs 45 to Rs 51 per liter and the price of buffalo milk has been increased from Rs 55 to Rs 61 per liter, which will benefit farmers and cattle rearers extensively.
In the session, the MLA honored the teachers of various schools of the state who did excellent work in the Sanskrit language during the Covid-19 period.
He announced he would give Rs 21 thousand to the council.
The MLA also heard the public problems on this occasion and directed the concerned officials to resolve them immediately.
