The road accident in Himachal Pradesh had made the happiness of New Year into the mourning.
An accident has taken place in Shimla district where three people have died due to car accident.
DSP Theog Siddharth Sharma said that a tragic road accident took place near a petrol pump at around 11:30 pm on Tuesday night on New Year’s Eve in Matiana of Theog in Shimla district. Three youths from Kinnaur have died in this accident. These three youths were going from Shimla towards Rampur in their car (number HP 02A-0169). During this time, on reaching Matiana, his car suddenly went out of control near the petrol pump and fell into a deep ditch. In the accident, all three youths traveling in the car died on the spot.
DSP Theog said that this accident happened when the car driver suddenly lost control of the vehicle. At the same time, the sounds of the vehicle falling into a deep ditch and overturning were heard by the local people. Local people reached the spot after hearing the sound. After which there was shouting and screaming. People informed the police about the accident. But the accident was so terrible that there was no chance to save the three youths and all three died on the spot.
DSP Theog Siddharth Sharma said, “Three youths have died in a road accident. According to preliminary investigation, these three youths were residents of Kinnaur. The deceased have not been identified yetTheog police has expedited the identification process. An FIR has been registered regarding the road accident. The cause of the accident is being investigated by the police.”
