Shimla: Former Chairman and Managing Director of Satluj Jal Vidyut Nigam (SJVN) and the current Chairman of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission, Nand Lal Sharma, has passed away.
A highly respected administrator, Sharma played a key role in the growth of India’s power sector during his tenure at SJVN and continued to contribute to the energy sector as Chairman of the Punjab State Electricity Regulatory Commission.
His demise has been widely mourned across administrative, political, and power sector circles, with tributes pouring in for his distinguished public service and leadership.
