Himachal Pradesh National Law University, Shimla, in association with the State Bank of India, Branch Ghandal organized ‘Van Mahotsav’ in the University premises. The teachers, staff and students actively participated in the tree plantation drive on campus. About fifty trees of various varieties were planted in and around the university campus.
Prof. (Dr.) Chanchal Kr. Singh, Vice-Chancellor (officiating), HPNLU, Shimla urged the students to plant a tree and nurture a dream at the celebration and tree plantation during the “Van Mahotsav.” Van mahotsav is celebrated in India for planting trees in order to highlight the importance of forests in preserving ecological harmony and ensuring ecological integrity.
Mr. Vivek Rahar, Regional Manager, Region 1, Shimla, Mr. Rudder Dev Sharma, Chief Manager, Mrs. Nikita Malhotra, Branch Manager, Mr. Nikhil Gupta, Assistant, State Bank of India, Gandhal, Shimla participated in the event and made the event a success.
