Hamirpur, September 2: The Himachal Pradesh Rajya Chayan Aayog (HPRCA) has declared the final result for the recruitment of 108 Sociology teacher posts in the School Education Department under Post Code-26029.
The result was announced after scrutiny of documents of candidates who qualified in the computer-based examination. HPRCA Secretary Dr Vikram Mahajan said 439 candidates had applied for the posts, while 374 appeared for the computer-based examination.
Following the examination, 225 candidates were shortlisted for document verification, which was conducted on August 24 and 25. After scrutiny of the documents, 107 candidates have been finally selected.
One post reserved under the SC (Ward of Freedom Fighter) category has remained vacant as no eligible candidate was available, the commission said.
The final result, including the names, roll numbers and marks of all candidates, has been uploaded on the official HPRCA website.
