Rampur (Shimla): Police have registered a case against an employee of Himachal Road Transport Corporation (HRTC) following allegations of sexual exploitation and criminal intimidation levelled by a married woman in Rampur subdivision of Shimla district.
According to the complaint, the woman alleged that the accused had been sexually exploiting her for the past three to four years by allegedly keeping her under mental pressure and threatening her whenever she resisted.
Based on the complaint, police have registered a case under Sections 64(1) and 351(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and initiated an investigation into the matter.
The complainant has sought legal action and justice, alleging prolonged harassment and intimidation by the accused.
Police officials said statements of both parties are being recorded and all facts related to the case are being examined. They added that the exact circumstances would become clear only after completion of the investigation.
