From the small town of Indora to the international sporting arena, Mili has scripted a remarkable chapter in Himachal Pradesh’s Korfball history. The young athlete will captain the Indian women’s U-21 Korfball team at the upcoming World Korfball Championship in Selangor, Malaysia.
Mili’s elevation as captain is a landmark achievement for the state. She has become the first female Korfball player from Himachal Pradesh to lead the Indian women’s team, putting Indora and Himachal firmly on the international sporting map.
