Jaypee University of Information Technology successfully organized a Principals’ Meet at Ramada by Wyndham Ambala on 16th May 2026. The event brought together school principals, academic leaders, and educators for meaningful discussions on the future of education and innovation-driven learning in India. The programme was conducted under the visionary leadership of Honorable CEO, JUIT, Shree Manu Bhaskar Gaur. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Honorable Vice Chancellor of JUIT, Prof. Rajendra Kumar Sharma. The Principals’ Meet was organized in association with the Ambala Progressive Sahodaya School Council and the Haryana Progressive Schools’ Conference. Key dignitaries and collaborators included Dr. Vikas Kohli, Mr. Prashant Munjal, Mr. Saurabh Kapoor, and Shree Pawan Acharya.
During the event, Prof. Rajendra Kumar Sharma shared his valuable experiences and insights on technical learning, innovation-driven education, and the evolving role of higher educational institutions in preparing students for future technological challenges. His address inspired the participants and emphasized the importance of practical learning, research orientation, and strong industry-academia collaboration in shaping future-ready professionals. Shree Pawan Acharya highly appreciated the extraordinary academic environment, disciplined culture, and value-based ecosystem being nurtured at JUIT. He highlighted how the university is successfully integrating Indian traditions, ethics, and cultural values with modern technological education to create responsible, innovative, and socially aware future leaders. He also praised JUIT’s student-centric approach, innovation ecosystem, and holistic educational vision that encourages creativity, leadership, and character development among students. Dr. Kohli emphasized the need of STEM education and he also mentioned that teaching of students is directly associated with the teaching and learning practices of teachers and principals.
A highly insightful technical talk was delivered by Prof. Tiratha Raj Singh on the theme:
“Transforming Education: STEM Leadership under NEP 2020”
The session highlighted the growing importance of STEM education, innovation, entrepreneurship, multidisciplinary learning, and technology-enabled teaching methodologies in alignment with the vision of the National Education Policy 2020. Prof. Singh emphasized how educational institutions can prepare students for future global challenges through research, creativity, critical thinking, and industry-oriented learning approaches. Prof. Singh also focused on the role of AI, interdisciplinary education, startup culture, and innovation-driven pedagogy in transforming the educational landscape under NEP 2020.
The Principals’ Meet served as an important platform for interaction, collaboration, and exchange of ideas between JUIT and leading educational institutions. Participants appreciated the university’s commitment toward academic excellence, innovation, research, and transformative education.

The whole program was conducted by Prof. Tiratha Raj Singh. The event concluded with an engaging interaction session and a collective commitment toward strengthening STEM leadership, innovation culture, and educational transformation in the region.
