Arki MLA Sanjay Awasthi said that by providing a proper platform to rural talent, we can select the best youth. Sanjay Awasthi was addressing the closing ceremony of the Navrang Rural Talent Fair, organized under the joint auspices of the Mela Committee Rahu and the Nehru Yuva Club Rahu, in Rahu village of Rohanj Jalana Gram Panchayat in the Arki assembly constituency.
The MLA said that events like the Navrang Rural Talent Fair should be held regularly. This provides opportunities for talented rural youth from various fields to advance. He congratulated the organizers for the successful organization of the talent fair.
Sanjay Awasthi said that the current state government is implementing new schemes to provide better employment and self-employment opportunities to youth. The various components of the Rajiv Gandhi Start-up Scheme offer numerous opportunities for youth.
Sanjay Awasthi said that under the Chief Minister’s sensitive leadership, historic decisions have been taken to enhance the economic well-being of farmers, gardeners, and cattle rearers. The minimum and maximum prices for cow and buffalo milk have been increased significantly. This decision will not only ensure cattle rearers receive a fair price for their labor but will also improve their economic prospects. He added that further increases in the minimum and maximum prices for milk are being considered in the future.
The MLA said that a few days ago, Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu launched the Milk Incentive Scheme and the Transportation Subsidy Scheme in the Arki Assembly constituency. He said that livestock farmers will receive financial benefits of Rs 18.24 crore per year from these schemes. He said that the state government will launch more effective schemes in the future to increase the income of farmers and livestock farmers.
He urged the youth to participate in sports as much as possible and stay away from drugs.
Sanjay Awasthi announced to provide funds to Nehru Yuvak Club Rahu for construction of open gym, Rs 21 thousand to Mahila Mandal Rahu for sale of material and to install four benches in the area.
He also announced to give Rs 21 thousand to the organizing committee from his discretionary fund.
He said that the demands of the area residents will be fulfilled in a phased manner.
The MLA honoured the participants who won various competitions.
On this occasion, volleyball, tug of war and various other competitions were organised.
On this occasion, he listened to the problems of the people and gave instructions to the officials to resolve them.
