Arki, June 4: Two persons were injured after a milk supply pickup vehicle met with an accident near Saryanj in Arki subdivision of Solan district on Thursday. The pickup reportedly went out of control and plunged down a deep slope alongside the road.
According to information received, the vehicle was passing through the Saryanj area when the driver allegedly lost control. The pickup rolled off the road and tumbled down a steep hillside, creating panic among local residents and passersby.
Upon receiving information about the accident, local villagers and nearby residents rushed to the spot and launched rescue operations. After considerable effort, the injured occupants were safely pulled out of the damaged vehicle and provided immediate assistance before being shifted to the Regional Hospital, Arki, for medical treatment.
The identities of the injured persons and the exact cause of the accident are yet to be ascertained. Police have registered the matter and initiated an investigation into the incident
