Ani MLA Lokendra Kumar, during his stay in Delhi, demanded Rs 531.41 crore before Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari for the total cost of the detailed project of expansion and land acquisition of Sainj-Luhri-Out under National Highway-305. Kept. MLA Lokendra said that all the documents related to this road have been sent to the central office, only the budget provision is yet to be made. He said that Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has given him full assurance that the budget for the construction of this national highway will be made soon. Approval will be granted. MLA Lokendra Kumar said that this highway is a major road of the state which will benefit the people of most of the districts of the state.
He also expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Union Minister for recently granting approval to the alignment of the proposed Jalori Pass Tunnel under National Highway-305 and also urged the Union Minister to expedite this project. MLA Lokendra Kumar discussed in detail about the various road and bridge projects in his constituency and requested to approve funds for them as soon as possible
