A case that shames humanity has come to light in Kandaghat of Solan district. Here, unknown people left a newborn girl at the entrance of the crematorium amidst the harsh cold. The police took immediate action and took the newborn into custody, sent him to the hospital for treatment, and started an investigation to identify his parents.
According to the information, on Sunday morning, a laborer engaged in the construction of a four-lane road in the Kandaghat area heard the cry of a newborn near the crematorium. The laborer informed Indra Singh, a nearby resident, about this. Indra Singh immediately reached the spot and saw the newborn, who was wrapped in a blue cloth and was crying. Without wasting any time, they informed the police and handed over the newborn to a Nepali woman living at a nearby dhaba so that she could be taken care of.
The police team immediately reached the spot and took possession of the newborn girl and sent her to a hospital in Solan, where her condition is said to be stable. Superintendent of Police Gaurav Singh said that the police have registered a case and started an investigation to identify the accused. He said that information is being collected from all possible sources to identify the newborn girl.
