Solan, August 14: Several areas of Solan will face a scheduled power shutdown on August 17 as the Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board Limited (HPSEBL) carries out maintenance work on three 11 kV feeders.
According to a press note issued by the Electrical Division, HPSEBL, Solan, power supply will remain suspended from 1 pm to 2 pm on Monday, August 17.
The affected feeders and areas are:
- 11 kV Lavi Ghat Feeder: Kailer, Ghatti, Lavigath, Jagatkhana, Deothi and adjoining areas.
- 11 kV Deonghat Feeder: Kailer, Tar Factory, Hero Honda, Uday Vihar, Pine Estate and adjoining areas.
- 11 kV Gurudwara Feeder: Power House Road, Post Office, Sugandha Apartments and surrounding areas.
HPSEBL said the shutdown has been planned to facilitate general maintenance work and improve the reliability of the power supply network.
The electricity board also clarified that the scheduled date and timing could be changed in case of bad weather or other unforeseen circumstances.
Residents and consumers in the affected areas have been advised to make necessary arrangements in advance.
