Shimla: Pratibha Singh, All India Congress Committee member, former MP and former state president of the Indian National Congress, has called upon party workers to strengthen the party in the upcoming elections for Panchayati Raj institutions and municipal bodies, including four municipal corporations.
In a statement issued here, Singh said that the Congress has always placed public interest above everything else and urged party workers to work together with unity and dedication.
She appealed to party leaders and workers to ensure the party’s victory in the elections to the four municipal corporations. Singh emphasized that all members should respect the party’s decisions and collectively work for the success of Congress candidates.
Referring to the legacy of the late Virbhadra Singh, the six-time Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, she said the state once again needs to strengthen his voice and vision within the party. Singh noted that Virbhadra Singh always respected party decisions and played a key role in strengthening the organization.
“This will be our true tribute to him,” she said.
Pratibha Singh also urged party workers, particularly her supporters, to come forward and contribute actively. She said that Congress leaders and workers must carry forward the strong organizational legacy established in the state and work collectively to further strengthen the party.
