Kandaghat, May 17
Gram Panchayat Kahla, under Kandaghat subdivision, set an example of unity and mutual understanding as all Panchayat representatives were elected unanimously during the Panchayat elections.
Rajesh Kumar was elected unopposed as Pradhan, while Suresh Kumar was chosen as Up-Pradhan. Rakesh Kumar, Seema and Reena Thakur Raksha Thakur and Reena Devi were also unanimously selected as Panchayat members.
Local residents said a joint meeting of people from all villages of the Panchayat was held before the elections, where everyone agreed to elect the representatives unanimously. Villagers described the decision as a symbol of harmony, brotherhood and collective cooperation in the Panchayat.
Residents expressed confidence that the newly elected body would work together for the development and welfare of the entire Panchayat area.
