The train is dedicated to Guru Granth Sahib Maharaj Parkash Parv. It will start from Sri Hazur Sahib railway station and cover the five holy shrines — Patna Sahib, Anandpur Sahib, Fatehgarh Sahib, Damdama Sahib and Amritsar Sahib.
It is a 12-day pilgrim yatra accommodating 1,300 devotees, totally free of cost and every stoppage more than 20,000 devotees would pay their respect. Also, langar facility will be available for the devotees for complete journey.
Speaking on the occasion, Bittu said the first special train covering five holy shrines of Sikhism was a tribute by Indian Railways to connect the people and enhance the spirituality culture and nationalism.
