Shanti pswaroop (64), a resident of Raisan Bihal village in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh, committed suicide by shooting himself with a pistol in his room on Monday morning. According to reports, the man was retired from the Secretariat.
Seriously injured, he was immediately rushed to the Regional Hospital, Kullu, but doctors declared him dead at around 11:00 am. This heartbreaking incident has sent shockwaves through the region.
