The Shimla Police’s drug smuggler is going on major action against the Sandeep Shah gang. Police arrested 4 more members of this gang on Sunday. Shimla police have caught a total of 48 accused of this gang so far. Which includes three women. Police investigation cases continue. The police is investigating the transactions of bank accounts and other online mediums of people associated with this gang.
In the earlier police investigation in the infamous Chitta smuggler Sandeep Shah Gang case, it has been revealed that the network of this gang is spread all over North India. In Himachal alone, about 200 people are expected to be associated with this gang. This number can reach 400 across North India. The arrested accused include a tehsil welfare officer and a female lawyer.
According to the information received from the police, the new arrested accused on Sunday include Harish Verma (36), Mayank Negta (24), Sahil Chauhan (24) and Shubham Dhirta (29). Those who keep their blessings from Chaupal, Theog and Kotkhai areas of Shimla district. The police arrested 5 members of this gang only last yesterday. After the arrest of 4 new people associated with Shah Gang, the figure has now reached 48 and police investigation in the case is going on.
Shimla SP Sanjeev Gandhi said that the police have arrested 4 smugglers associated with this Sandeep Shah gang. He warned in two words that a person who spreads intoxication in the district will not be spared by the police. Police action against drugs will continue further.
