Manmohan Sharma, District Magistrate of Solan, has issued orders revising the traffic timing on the stretch from the Old Bus Stand, Solan to the Old Deputy Commissioner’s Office Chowk, Solan in public interest.
According to the new orders, vehicular movement from the Old Bus Stand towards the Old Deputy Commissioner’s Office Chowk will now start at 8:05 pm, instead of the earlier timing of 8:15 pm.
The administration clarified that all other conditions will remain unchanged as per the traffic regulation orders issued on March 2, 2026.
The revised timing has come into effect immediately, the order stated.
The directives have been issued under the powers conferred by the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, along with Rules 15 and 17 of the Road Regulation Rules, 1999 and Rules 184 and 196 of the Himachal Pradesh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1999.
