Vidya became the president of SMC Peeran and Sarala became the vice president
Shimla, June 24. A general meeting of parents was held on Wednesday at the Government Senior Secondary School, Peeran, chaired by Principal Rakesh Verma. The meeting dissolved the old executive committee and formed a new School Management Committee (SMC). Vidya Kumari was unanimously elected as the president of the School Management Committee (SMC), and Sarla Sharma as the vice-president. This means that this time, the leadership of the SMC of Peeran School has fallen into the hands of women.
Additionally, local Panchayat head Nisha Devi, Ranjana Kumari, Sarita Devi, Devdutt, Nisha, Pariksha, Madan, Kiran, Hema, Sushma, Ashok, Neeraj, Suman, Kamalkant, and Shabnam have been appointed as non-official members. Teachers Krishna Devi, Devinda Devi, Sunil Kumar, Manoj Kumar, Vishma Devi, and Khajan Singh have been appointed as official members. Principal Rakesh Verma will be the member secretary.
Rakesh Verma stated that the new executive committee was formed in a democratic, transparent, and inclusive manner, in accordance with government directives. Parents of all children from grades 1 to 12, teachers, and local residents participated in the general meeting. He extended his best wishes to the newly formed SSC officials, stating that the SMC plays a crucial role in fostering an educational environment and creating basic facilities within the school. He urged them to provide positive support to the SMC.
Newly elected President Vidya Kumari expressed her gratitude to the Principal and parents and reiterated her resolve to create a clean, safe, moral and drug-free environment in the school as well as to cooperate in other school activities.
