Kasauli MLA Vinod Sultanpuri on Sunday emphasized the importance of yoga in maintaining physical and mental well-being, especially in today’s fast-paced and stressful lifestyle. He was addressing the district-level celebration of the 12th International Yoga Day held in Parwanoo.
Speaking on the occasion, Sultanpuri said yoga is an integral part of India’s rich and ancient heritage and has gained worldwide recognition for its numerous health benefits. “Yoga helps keep both the body and mind healthy. Everyone should incorporate yoga into their daily routine to enjoy a long, disease-free and fulfilling life,” he said.
The MLA also made a special appeal to the youth to stay away from social evils such as drug abuse and channel their energy into positive pursuits. He encouraged young people to adopt yoga, sports and regular physical exercise to build a brighter and healthier future.
