Harish, a young man from Rahla in Mandi district, had a harrowing time near Jogni Waterfall. He slipped suddenly and fell into a deep ravine, resulting in serious injuries.
Undeterred, Harish immediately called his friend in Goshal village to inform him of his fall. The friend, without delay, contacted a local adventure tour operator and sought immediate help.
Upon receiving the information, the adventure tour operator’s trained rescue team, along with members of Gautam Yuvak Mandal Goshal, immediately launched a rescue operation. The team struggled for nearly two hours to free the injured man trapped in the inaccessible ravine. Finally, the experienced team members of the adventure tour operator succeeded in safely retrieving him.
Following the rescue, the team provided first aid to the injured Harish on the spot and immediately transported him to Civil Hospital Manali. Joginder, a member of the Kullu Manali rescue team, stated that the young man had sustained serious injuries and was admitted to the hospital after initial treatment. A major tragedy was averted due to the quick action of the friend and the bravery of the rescue team.
