Shimla: The Himachal Pradesh government has assigned additional charges to two IAS officers with immediate effect, according to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel on Tuesday.
As per the order, Ms Kumud Singh, IAS (HP:2015), Director, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Himachal Pradesh, has been given the additional charge of Managing Director, Himachal Pradesh State Civil Supplies Corporation, Shimla.
Shri Rajiv Kumar, IAS, Additional Principal Private Secretary-cum-Special Secretary to the Chief Minister, has been assigned the additional charge of State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha, Himachal Pradesh, Shimla.
Rajiv Kumar is currently also holding additional responsibilities as Director, Information and Public Relations; Project Director, H.P. AIDS Control Society; and Special Secretary (Personnel) to the government.
The appointments have been made in the public interest and with immediate effect until further orders, the notification said.
The order was issued by Kamlesh Kumar Pant, Chief Secretary to the Government of Himachal Pradesh, on September 1, 2026.
