The Himachal Pradesh government has ordered the transfer and posting of three Indian Police Service (IPS) officers with immediate effect following recommendations of the Civil Services Board.
Mayank Chaudhary, IPS (HP:2019), who was serving as Superintendent of Police (Leave Reserve) at Police Headquarters, Shimla, has been appointed Commandant of the 2nd Indian Reserve Battalion at Sakoh in Kangra district. Amit Yadav, IPS (HP:2019), has been transferred from his post as Commandant of the 2nd Indian Reserve Battalion, Sakoh, and appointed Superintendent of Police, Cyber Crime (CID), Shimla.
Meanwhile, the services of Sanjeev Kumar Gandhi, IPS (HP:2012), Deputy Inspector General of Police (Traffic, Tourist & Railways), Shimla, have been placed at the disposal of the Department of Personnel, Government of Himachal Pradesh. The orders were issued by Chief Secretary Kamlesh Kumar Pant.
