Shimla, June 27
A summer fair was organised for little children on Saturday at the Anganwadi Centre Tri in Junga tehsil. On this occasion, various entertaining and educational activities were organised with the aim of encouraging the all-round development and creative talent of the children. Anganwadi Centre Tri worker Gayatri Sharma, worker and assistant of Dhali Bagda Anganwadi Centre Poonam Thakur also took active part in the programme. The summer fair was inaugurated by Attar Singh Thakur, Deputy Pradhan of Gram Panchayat Peeran.
During this period, children participated enthusiastically in painting, sports, poetry, songs and other creative activities.
Attar Singh Thakur said that such events play an important role in the mental, physical, and social development of children. He commended the efforts of Anganwadi workers and urged them to continue organizing such programs in the future.
Poonam Thakur welcomed the chief guest and provided detailed information about the Summer Fair. She said that Anganwadi centers provide children with a balanced diet, pre-school education, and a variety of cultural, sports, and other activities for their overall development.
