Students of Auckland House School for Boys have delivered a strong performance at the Raftaar Motivational All India Open National Skating Championship 2026, held at Dhelpur in Mohali, Punjab, winning 10 medals, including five gold, three silver and two bronze.
The championship saw participation from 542 skaters representing states including Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Auckland House School for Boys fielded a 14-member contingent, with its skaters competing in the 200-metre and 400-metre inline events.
Sarthak Aggarwal emerged as the standout performer, securing two gold medals. Heramb Ranta won a gold and a silver, while Satvik Saklani and Ridhwan Gaktoo claimed one gold each. Ayan Riyakta bagged a silver and a bronze, while Ahyan Jhalta also won a silver and a bronze. Avyukt Thakur added another bronze to the school’s medal tally.
The school credited the achievement to the guidance of Principal Ruben Tanmay John and the dedicated efforts of skating coach Pankaj Prabhakar. The school said the principal’s continued encouragement and the coach’s training, strategy and motivation helped the young skaters perform strongly at the national-level competition.
The school management congratulated all 14 participants and the medal winners, describing the performance as a significant achievement for the institution and its sporting programme.
